Welcome to the Dragonfly Class!

If you would like to find out more about Dragonflies, please click on the picture above.

Our Class Teacher is Mrs Snelling.

Our LSA is Mrs Furnell.

Our lunchtime supervisor is Mrs Flexman.

Our topic this term is Paws, Claws and Dinosaurs.

We will be learning about all sorts of animals and dinosaurs.

On Tuesday we came into school to find some huge footprints and a very large egg had been left behind by something!

What will be inside?

When will it hatch?

Do you know any animals that lay eggs? Can you write a list of them at home?

Do you have any pets at home that you could talk to us about?

Maybe you could bring in a photograph of your pet for our display.

P.E. day is a Tuesday. Please make sure your child has a P.E. kit in school and any earrings are removed.

We are really enjoying learning our phonics and finding out about digraphs and trigraphs.

Click the picture of Alphablocks so you can watch fun videos about phonic sounds.

Have you been filling in your Reading Passport?

Last year everyone in Dragonflies managed to complete all three passports and got a fantastic prize to take home!

Don’t forget parents are invited in to read with their children on a Tuesday morning. We love sharing stories and other books with our families.
